Marketing Events and More

The weekend is coming, and you don’t know what you’re going to do with your free time. You start scrolling through Instagram and come across an ASWWU post. You click on it and see that an event is happening this weekend. Perfect! You spend the next couple of days planning to have a great weekend with your friends and when it comes, you have fun spending time together and meeting new people. What created that special weekend for you? The ASWWU Marketing department that informed you of the current events did. 

Our department advertises all events for ASWWU by using several different mediums like posters, social media, and merchandise. We want you to get all the information, all the time! My team and I work closely with each department to convey all the updated information about what ASWWU things are happening on campus, from social events to outdoors trips to Senate updates. We want you to be informed. 

You may be interested to know that we have graphic designers who make all the posters and graphics, then we have general staff who sync the ASWWU calendar across the campus calendars and run our social media. We have made Instagram our main marketing tool and we pour a great deal of energy into creating a platform that informs you of all the special events that will take place. We want it to be engaging and helpful for you but also aesthetic to look at! We also spent the summer being intentional about designing the ASWWU T-shirts so they reflect our mission statement for the year. We have you, the student, in mind with everything we do.
