The day most of us have waited for is here. Taco Bell is coming to Walla Walla. For most students at WWC, Taco Bell has been a planned stop on day trips to the tri-cities. Now the days of 45-minute drives for a burrito at Taco Bell are over, giving away to a new age in Walla Walla’s fast food restaurant choices. Kelly Triplet, director of ARAMARK, “basically it will blow them out of the water!” Andrew Becraft, junior English major said, “Taco Bell sucks, but it's cheap!” Doug Harmerly, senior history major said “The cafeteria’s going to lose a lot of money. It's about time we got a Taco Bell around here.” To comply with the 180-day limit of building permit, construction must be completed on Dec. 26. However, a spokesperson for Lugo Construction, chief building contractors, said it could be finished as early as the 15th. The new Taco Bell will be located 16 N. 9th St.
